VBC Pallavolo Rosa Casalmaggiore is active since July 2008 when it is born from the alliance between two experienced volleyball teams of Cremona: VBC Casalmaggiore and Volleyball Ostiano. In 2009-2010 season it gained the first promotion to B1 winning the Italian Cup in B2 too. In the next season VBC conquers a new promotion to A2 series. In its first appearance in A2, the team was on the verge to be promoted in the First Division, but it ranked the second place since it was defeated by Icos Crema during the play-off finals.
During the following season, VBC obtained the same result: second place in championship and play-off defeat by Ornavasso. At the beginning of the 2013-2014 season it was admitted to the A1 series thanks to Cuatto Volley Giaveno e Chieri Torino Volley Club that became a sole team giving to VCB the possibility to take the empty place. In the next season, after a second place in the regular season, VBC won the championship defeating AGIL volley.
Till 2014-2015 season when the pink miracle was completed and Casalmaggiore won the A1 Italian Championship. Biacchi Gianfranco S.r.l., with its trademark King Collection, is official sponsor of VBC-Pomì, a team that with great perseverance brought Casalmaggiore, a little country village, and the Biacchi Gianfranco S.r.l. itself, to the conquest of the highest step of the podium, becoming Italian Champion in the 2014-2015 season.
Thanks to the 1st place at the Italian Championship, VBC Pomì Casalmaggiore could take part for the first time to an European competition: the Champions LeagueOn the 10th of April 2016 the VBC team becomes the European Vollyball Champion, beating the Turkish team VakıfBank Spor Kulübü 3-0: Casalmaggiore is on top of Europe.
